2009 Cheerleader of Cheerleaders

Kristen Carr- Lakewood High School

The assistant principal at Lakewood High School said that “Kristen has served as a leader by example to her classmates displaying the highest character and integrity and treating everyone including classmates, non-certified staff, teachers, and administrators with respect.” Kristen volunteers her time for Elves in Action Food Drive, Student Council Food Drive, Cheerleaders Food Drive, Student Council Blood Drives, Lakewood Mini Cheer Camp, Freshman Mentoring and the Big Buddies Program.  Kristen plans on attending the University of Cincinnati in the fall.  

By being named the AmeriCheer Cheerleader of Cheerleaders, Kristen will receive a $1000 college scholarship, featured on the cover of Inside Cheerleading Magazine (Jan/Feb ‘10 issue), an automatic position on the AmeriCheer Instructional staff and the opportunity to be a spokesperson for AmeriCheer throughout 2010.  

Each Cheerleader of Cheerleader finalist was considered for this honor by an impartial selection committee with regard to a well-rounded set of criteria including scholastic excellence, community service, athleticism character, college goals and the will to excel and promote genuine spirit in life and in cheerleading.
