Scoring & Performance Order

Scoring:

Cheer Teams-  For Non-Worlds Bid Divisions, Saturday scores will determine the placement for the corresponding awards ceremony.  For those Non-Worlds Bid teams competing for 2 days, the highest score from Saturday or Sunday will determine the score used for final placements on Sunday.  For Worlds Bids Divisions, Round 1 of competition will account for 30% of the teams’ final placement score and Round 2 will account for 70% of the teams’ final placement score. 

Dance Teams:  All Dance teams will have only 1 round of competition; therefore, that score will determine final placement.

Performance Order:

Cheer Teams: For Non-Worlds Bid Divisions, Saturday and Sunday’s performance orders will be computer generated.  For Worlds Bid Divisions, Round 1 of competition will be computer generated and Round 2 will be the reverse order of placement from Round 1.  All division combinations and break downs will follow USASF sanctioning guidelines.

Dance Teams:  The performance order for all dance divisions of the competition will be computer generated.  All division combinations and break downs will follow USASF sanctioning guidelines.

Bid Distribution: 

Cheer Worlds Bid Information:

• 1 Full Paid Bid- To be awarded to the highest scoring Senior Level 5 team.
• 3 At Large Bids– To be awarded as follows:

1. At Large Bid #1– To be awarded to the highest scoring Senior All Girl Level 5 team.

(Or next highest scoring Senior All Girl Level 5 team in the event an all girl team received the Full Paid Bid).

2. At Large Bid #2–– To be awarded to the highest scoring Senior Coed Level 5 team.

(Or next highest scoring Senior Coed Level 5 team in the event a coed team received the Full Paid Bid).

3. At Large Bid #3- To be awarded to the any eligible World’s Bid division.  (Selection based upon score and judges’ recommendation).

Eligible Cheer Worlds Bid Divisions

Senior Level 5 Divisions: Small Senior All Girl; Medium Senior All Girl; Large Senior All Girl; Senior Small Coed;

Senior Medium Coed; Senior Large Coed

International Level 5 Divisions: Open All Girl; Open Coed 

International Level 6 Divisions: Open All Girl; Open Coed

Dance Worlds Bid Information:

• 1 Partial Paid Bid-  To be awarded to the highest scoring Senior Category team (Pom, Jazz or Hip Hop). 
• 1 Partial Paid Bid-  After the first  Partial Paid Bid is awarded the next highest scoring team from the remaining two Senior Categories will receive the bid.

*Example: Should the Senior Pom champion receive the first Partial Paid Bid then the highest scoring team from the Senior Jazz or Senior Hip Hop categories will receive the next Partial Paid Bid.

• 1 At Large Bid– To be awarded to the remaining Senior Category team that did not receive a Partial Paid Bid.

*Example: Should the Senior Pom and Senior Jazz categories receive the Partial Paid Bids then the Senior Hip Hop champion will receive the first At Large Bid.

• 1 At Large Bid– To be awarded to any eligible Senior Category team.  (Selection based upon score and judges’ recommendation).

• 2 International At Large Bids– The two highest scoring International Open teams will receive the International Bids respectively.

*Note: The two highest scoring teams for the International at Large Bids may come from the same or multiple categories.

Senior Categories: Pom, Jazz & Hip Hop

Senior Coed: Pom, Jazz & Hip Hop

*To be eligible for the September pricing, the organization must pay a 50% deposit of the total amount due by September 1, 2013.  The balance will be due by the event(s) registration deadline.  All deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Spectator

Spectator Fees: Adults $15; Students/Senior Citizens $13; Children Under 5 FREE; Discounted Multi-Day Passes will be available at the event.

Videotaping: Video cameras will not be permitted at the competition. Video cameras will not be permitted along any balcony rails, in seats, or on the floor. This rule will be strictly enforced. High quality video tapes of the competition are available for purchase at a special rate. Please see the video sales representative at the competition to order your tape. Each tape will contain highlights of the entire competition, the specific division, and the awards ceremony.

Photography: No FLASH photography is permitted.
